What are the benefits of using a virtual whiteboard for strategic planning and ideation?

A virtual whiteboard provides a shared space where team members can ideate and plan from anywhere. In Lucidspark, meeting facilitators can use pre-made templates to guide the ideation and planning processes, including the creation of visuals such as a SWOT analysis or strategy goal map. They can also create breakout boards to support smaller group discussions and Visual Activities to prioritize ideas and gauge alignment. Beyond the ability to add sticky notes in Lucidspark, participants can share feedback using emoji reactions and comments. They can also use AI in Lucidspark to generate, sort, and summarize ideas on the board. When it’s time to move from ideation to planning, Lucidspark provides a variety of planning tools, such as Timelines, Dynamic Tables, the ability to assign tasks, and integrations with leading project and task management systems. At the end of ideation and planning sessions, the virtual whiteboard provides automatic documentation of the sessions that can easily be shared with everyone involved.

What integrations does Lucid support for importing data into a virtual whiteboard?

Lucid integrates with over 100 apps that support varying levels of data syncing, data imports, and internal or external embeds. For example, Lucidspark supports a two-way data sync with airfocus, Azure DevOps, and Jira. It enables users to import tasks and records as Lucid Cards from Airtable, Asana, and monday.com. It also allows users to embed documents from Confluence, Google, and Microsoft, and more. Additionally, users can import existing virtual whiteboard files to Lucidspark from Miro, Mural, and FigJam. Explore descriptions of individual integrations in the Lucid integrations marketplace to understand the full functionality of each integration.

How do AI capabilities in Lucidspark assist with sorting and summarizing brainstormed ideas?

To sort brainstormed ideas using AI in Lucidspark, select six or more sticky notes on your board, click on the AI icon in the context menu, then select Sort ideas. Your sticky notes will then be sorted into categories. To summarize brainstormed ideas, follow the same steps, but select Summarize as the final step. A summary of your ideas will appear in a container on your board.

What security certifications does Lucid hold for public sector virtual whiteboarding?

Lucid is FedRAMP Authorized at the Moderate security impact level. Additionally, Lucid complies with applicable local and international requirements and maintains compliance certifications such as SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and more.

How do I lock an entire Lucidspark whiteboard?

On an Enterprise account, any user with edit access to a board can apply content locking, which makes the entire board uneditable until the locked status is changed. While locked, collaborators can still add comments, share the board, copy the board, and present it. With other types of Lucid accounts, you can change collaborators’ sharing permissions to view only or view and comment, which will ensure that no changes are made to the content on your board.

Which Agile planning activities can be facilitated in Lucidspark?

Lucid provides tools and templates that support every type of planning activity for Agile teams—from sprint planning and backlog refinement at the team level to release planning and big room planning at the program level. Teams can use Lucid to facilitate both virtual and in-person planning sessions.
