At Lucid, the privacy and security of your data is always top of mind. That’s why we’re so excited to announce further improvements to how we store data globally with the launch of the AUS region of the global data center, hosted on AWS. We look forward to better supporting APAC customers on Enterprise accounts.
What exactly is data residency for Lucid?
Data residency for Lucid makes it easier for customers to control where their data is being stored within the Lucid Suite. This means that you can choose whatever region helps you meet your data residency and compliance requirements.
Data residency consists of a single domain (lucid.app) that supports multiple data regions so that Lucid’s integrations, external API, and extensibility platform work seamlessly in every data region without extra work or extraneous marketplace listings. In short, data residency allows you to collaborate more easily, all while adapting to the evolving demands of your business.
In particular, with this launch, Enterprise APAC customers can either move from the US region to the AUS region or start brand new in the AUS region.
Why the change?
This update maintains Lucid’s strong security and scalability and offers improved performance benefits for customers. Admins can make decisions about where to store content so end users don’t need to take any additional steps—they can just get right to work collaborating.
Additionally, we feel confident about this change as it aligns with other leading global software providers.
